Your details

Free results. Data is not submitted to our server.

How it works

Weekly × 52 ÷ 12 gives monthly income. Biweekly uses 26 periods, semi-monthly 24. Hourly and daily conversions use your entered working schedule and 52 paid weeks; amounts are gross, not after-tax.

Example

$1,000 weekly is $52,000 annually and $4,333.33 per average month.

Questions about this tool

Why is a month more than four weeks here?

An annual-average month equals 52 weeks divided by 12, or about 4.333 weeks. Actual payments received in a calendar month can differ.

Are these results independently verified?

No. Results and documents use the information you enter. Review the inputs and keep the underlying records.

Weekly to monthly income: formula and examples

Average monthly income = weekly income × 52 ÷ 12. This converts a recurring weekly amount into an annual total and spreads that total across 12 months. It does not predict the deposits in a particular calendar month.

Why multiplying by four is different

At $1,000 per week, four weekly payments total $4,000. The annualized monthly average is $4,333.33 because $1,000 × 52 ÷ 12 = $4,333.33 after rounding. A calendar month containing five weekly pay dates would have $5,000 in payments if every payment were $1,000.

Weekly, biweekly and twice-monthly examples

$500 weekly → $26,000 annually → $2,166.67 per average month. $1,000 weekly → $52,000 annually → $4,333.33 per average month. $1,500 weekly → $78,000 annually → $6,500 per average month.

$2,000 biweekly uses 26 periods: $52,000 annually and $4,333.33 per average month. $2,000 semi-monthly uses 24 periods: $48,000 annually and $4,000 monthly. Biweekly means every two weeks; semi-monthly means twice a month.

How the schedule fields affect the result

Hourly conversions use your hours per week and 52 paid weeks. Daily conversions use your days per week and 52 paid weeks. The schedule fields also determine the hourly and daily equivalents shown for other frequencies. For example, $25 per hour at 40 hours per week gives $52,000 annually under the 52-week assumption.

Gross income, taxes and unpaid weeks

Use gross earnings to match this tool's before-tax description. The calculation does not subtract taxes or benefits. For take-home pay, use the payroll calculator with its supported tax inputs. Keep gross and net figures separate when comparing records.

The tool assumes 52 paid weeks for weekly and schedule-based conversions. If you expect only 48 paid weeks at $1,000, the annual total would be $48,000 and the monthly average $4,000. Enter that expected annual amount using Annual to compare equivalents. Variable hours, bonuses and unpaid leave can make a single week's amount unrepresentative.

Can I use the monthly result as my actual pay stub income?

An annualized average is not proof of earnings for a specific period. Use actual payroll records for a pay stub. Before carrying a result into a document, replace estimates with the verified period amount and check dates, deductions and year-to-date totals.
